Humans are brilliant at many things, but we struggle with:
· Exploring more than one variable at a time.
· Identifying weak signals in large datasets.
· Maintaining curiosity when the effort outweighs the reward.
· Being always ‘on’.
The data itself though isn’t the problem. It’s what we expect the user to do with it.
